My Story

 Founders note..

Hi all, Shanice here..

‘’As a teenager, I was bullied because of the way I looked; I was bullied because of my dress style and my diverse views. Being young and just trying to find my feet. I also lacked confidence, from being bullied mentally, emotionally and physically this led me trying to fit in with groups to make me seen as a popular person in school. I spent most of the time trying to find myself but also asking myself daily why I looked the way I did and why I wasn’t accepted by my school peers. It took me a few years to build up my confidence, being the quietest in the room to now standing bold and being able to voice my character through my different styles and the way I dress. Now being a bubbly outgoing person but also still battling with confidence issues I wanted to portray that through my brand and help others who may be facing this reoccurring issue.

Neicey’s Jewels is a jewellery brand for the unapologetic woman who isn't afraid to shine. My aim is to encourage women to express themselves confidently through jewellery. 

l wanted to create a platform that encourages women to be confident, love and express themselves through my jewellery that focuses on how it makes them feel.

My journey started when I was a teenager who lacked confidence and found jewellery as my form of self expression. 

I understood the pressure on our young girls to have a certain look and to succumb to the latest trends which often leads to a lack of self confidence and self-esteem especially from quite a young age. Therefore I birthed a jewellery brand in hope women find their voice and their way of expressing themselves through our campaigns and different concepts.

Through my brand, I hope to inspire confidence, empowerment, and acceptance and to help nurture young woman to achieve anything they put their mind to.

With time, I found the strength to embrace my unique style and voice. Today, I am proud of who I am and want to use my journey to help others facing similar challenges.
